Pretty bird on the road

Coming down the mountain I met this pretty bird on the road – the capercaillie. The black male is surely somewhere close by. It is common to spot birds of the forest along our roads. In April and May capercaillie lek is staged in our forests. If you are lucky you might see the ancient courtship display acted out by the biggest bird in European forests - the capercaillie.
