Third generation Sámi hotel Nikkaluokta Sarri awarded Sápmi Experience

“Nikkaluokta Sarri does a good job as we see it in the reindeer herding community. We have no problems with their tourism. Instead they inform visitors well about reindeer herding in an area heavily used by tourism”, says Chief Ingemar Blind of Girjas Sámi Community.

This area is threatened by mining exploitations and all good forces are needed to protect the land and help reindeer herding survive. Nikkaluokta is such a good force.
