Sápmi on CNN
VisitSápmi hosted a documentary crew from CNN a couple of weeks ago. Here's a first result from our work together.
Part of this video was filmed at Ájtte museum in Jokkmokk, one of the first Sápmi Experience approved companies. Carl-Johan Utsi and his family participated. We also co-operated with the Sámi youth magazine Nuorat and several Sámi models. Thank you all for participating!
A longer Sápmi feature will be aired in April 2012 in a CNN-show called Fusion Journeys. This feature follows photographer Roger Moukarzel meeting Carl-Johan Utsi in Sápmi, following Roger's quest to produce an exhibition about global warming and how this affects people of the world.
Thanks also to VisitSweden from London.
We will keep you updated!
