Who can be awarded Sápmi Experience?

Only Sámi companies can be awarded the Sápmi Experience Quality Label. The companies must work with other businesses and employees in the same way as in the tourism sector in general – for the mutual benefit of all involved. A tourism enterprise awarded the Sápmi Experience Quality Label must be under Sámi management and promote understanding for the Sámi culture, cultural landscape, philosophy and values. The Sámi tourist company must demonstrate Sámi themes in its activities and have a high level of control over these activities.
